Let’s face it. Your health needs can happen at the worst times: after hours, on the weekends, when you’re on the road or just generally outside of the normal 9 to 5.
Fortunately, our health system is committed to providing high-quality healthcare that is easy to access and convenient to you — wherever you are.
The first step is connecting with one of our primary care providers. They are your first point of care, trained to diagnose and treat a multitude of common conditions, such as sinus infections, urinary tract infections, the flu and more. They are the ones who see you for your annual checkup, armed with your medical history and notes from previous visits, and you can see them more often if needed.
That’s why we’ve made it as easy as possible to connect with a primary care provider, expanding our digital offerings to fit your needs at any hour from the comfort of your home. With the help of our MyChart app, there are a variety of ways to conveniently connect with our primary care providers from your smartphone or computer.
We believe healthcare happens whenever and wherever you are. Learn more about all the ways you can connect with us below.
Video Visits
Our primary care providers offer virtual appointments for those who can’t make an in-person appointment or just prefer to see their provider from the comfort of their home or wherever they are. You may receive a call prior to your appointment to make sure you have all the information and connectivity you need to get your appointment started remotely. Any necessary follow-up or in-person testing can be arranged during your video visit. Find out more about video visits.
Virtual Extended Hours
Many of our providers are also available for virtual appointments until 8 p.m., seven days a week, so you can reach one of our trusted providers whenever you need them. These after-hours appointments are typically for minor illnesses and infections.
Same-Day Appointments
Don’t want to wait? We can help you arrange a same-day appointment with one of our providers if your health need is urgent or the same day is most convenient for you. Depending on the urgency of your need, consider whether you should go to a primary care provider, urgent care or the emergency room. Here’s a quick reference guide on where to go for care.
In-Person Appointments
For many of us, the traditional option is the best. Schedule an appointment to see a primary care provider within a few days, come to one of our offices or clinics during your scheduled appointment, and we’ll take care of the rest. Get prepared for a primary care visit.
In-Person Extended Hours
That’s right. Some of our primary care providers are even available in person for extended hours, so you can see a trusted provider face to face for your after-hours healthcare needs.
Walk-In Clinics
Otherwise known as urgent care clinics, our walk-in clinics can accommodate you more quickly than an emergency room for non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Unlike an emergency room where the most severe cases are treated first, walk-in clinics see patients in the order they arrive. They can also refer you directly to one of our primary care providers for follow-up care, so you don’t have to start the process over again with a doctor in another health system. Find one of our walk-in clinics near you.
