Make 2022 a year of better health. Use this quick checklist to guide your health and wellness efforts:

  1. Get a flu shot and a COVID-19 vaccine if you haven’t already. Seasonal flu has taken a backseat to the coronavirus, but cases of flu are already popping up. If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to get a flu vaccine as soon as possible
  1. Schedule your wellness visits with your primary care provider to keep up with all other vaccinations and screenings for cancers such as breast and colon cancer. Other items to check-in with your PCP about during your yearly visit:
  • Arthritis
  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • COPD
  • Depression
  • Diabetes
  1. Be sure to eat some fruit, vegetables and whole grains daily.
  1. Get active! Even 15-30 minutes of daily activity can have a positive impact. Read more about benefits of walking you may not know.
