Known as “Paris,” Bennig G. Sevilla has lived in the U.S. since she was 10 after spending her early childhood in La-Seiba, Honduras.
Sevilla works in nutritional services at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. She’s been with our system for five years.
Family Traditions
Sevilla says she doesn’t remember much of her Honduran culture, but she is still proud of her Honduran heritage and celebrates family traditions in different ways.
“My favorite family tradition is having a big celebration for Christmas with my fiancé, two boys and two girls,” she says.
Family-Oriented
Her career is also centered around having a sense of family around her.
“The one thing that inspired me to work at Our Lady of Lourdes is the culture,” Sevilla says. “I love that everyone here is family-oriented.”
Our DEI Commitment
Our ministry’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion supports culturally competent care education for our team members all year long, including during Hispanic Heritage Month each September 15 to October 15.
