The Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System is one of the largest healthcare systems based in Louisiana and the largest pediatric network in the state. The health system was organized in 1984 as a non-profit, Catholic organization, sponsored by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady. FMOLHS is the leading healthcare provider for more than half of Louisiana’s population and Mississippi’s largest metropolitan area. Headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the health system manages seven major medical centers in Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as an integrated Children’s Health network, Senior Services division, and Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, known as FranU.
